Monique is a young entrepreneur with a passion for sewing, fashion and design. At the age of 9, she started selling homegrown organic lemons to her neighbours and friends. She then entered a partnership with her best friend. They began baking cookies and cakes which were sold from a small stall on their front lawn. At the age of 10, she found a book about sewing in her school library and fell in love with being able to create products that made people happy. Since then she has began making high-quality clothing from re-purposed and vintage fabrics.
